Erik Bornemann is a New England artist working primarily in painting. He was born in Maryland and raised in Acton Massachusetts, a small suburban town just northwest of Boston. In 2014 he received his BFA in Painting from The Massachusetts College of Art and Design. In 2016 he received a grant from the Boston cultural council for painting. He has exhibited his work over the past three years number of galleries in Boston and has work in multiple private and public collections in New England. His most recent exhibition was selected by Boston Magazine as one of the best shows to see in fall 2016. His work has also been featured in the Boston Globe’s best weekend picks. He currently lives and works in Jamaica Plain.
